Lene Teig is a visual artist and self-taught street photographer located in Oslo, Norway.

With a passion for capturing life as it happens during travels and in everyday life.

​

My eye is constantly drawn to the beauty of traveling, and I am influenced by the authentic city life and the landscape by the ocean. People inspire me, same as food, music, culture and architecture. I love the morning light on my travels, the smell and the sound of a city waking up, or a beach where the only sound I hear is the ocean. A new day has just begun and in a few hours the beach will be so full of life and joy, and maybe there I will capture my next print. Me bringing my camera forces me to look up, stop and appreciate what I see around me.

I have a special place in my heart for Italy and the Mediterranean, where I have been traveling with my family since my childhood. The French riviera is also beautiful to me, and I have been lucky to visit and to dream myself away in the beauty, the luxury and the atmosphere of the cities along that amazing coastline. That is exactly what I want with my photos. To create dreams and hope, and curiosity. I want to put you in the same state of mood that I felt when I took the picture.

I also am an Interior designer, and the mother of three beautiful young adults, which inspire me every day.
